Control joints in gypsum board systems shall beinstalled where indicated on the plans or specifications.Gypsum Association recommended specifications andmanufacturer’s recommendations specify minimumrequirements for the installation of control joints. Controljoints in the gypsum board shall be specified by thearchitect or designer where any of the conditions listedbelow exist.
